What A Man Found In His New Basement Would Make You Want To Move Out Immediately

A Redditor purchased a new home a few years back. This was obviously an exciting time for him, as it would be for any new homeowner. However, his house still needed a little bit of work, so he didn”t waste any time getting to repairs and renovations.

One fateful day, while the new homeowner worked on the basement, he discovered something terrifying hiding underneath his new house. This discovery was so horrifying and shocking that it would have made me want to move out ASAP and never look back.

A portion of the basement floor was slightly raised and covered by a hinged wooden door.

After removing the cinder blocks on top and opening the door, he quickly discovered he had an old well in his new basement. (Talk about creepy.)

The well went down seven or eight feet, with about four feet of standing water at the bottom.

Sounds a bit like the well in The Ring, doesn”t it?

To avoid any monsters coming into the house, the Redditor filled the old well with stone. He has since sold the house, which is probably for the best, as he can now rest easy knowing that no horror movie characters will be making a surprise visit.
